Touristic workshop in Prague, Poznań, and Warsaw

Last week the Touristic Workshop on Lusophone countries took place in 3 cities: Prague (czech Republic), Poznań, and Warsaw.
The touristic workshop has gathered representatives of the Czech and Polish tourism sector such as travel agencies, tour operators and hotels, in order to help them in establishing and renewing contacts with Portuguese partners.
At the end of the evening, there was an opportunity to take part in a lottery and win valuable prizes offered by Portuguese companies participating in the Workshop.

António Costa visits Poland amid the situation in Ukraine

António Costa visits Poland amid the situation in Ukraine. The visit was initiated with a meeting between the Portuguese prime minister with national investors in Poland – Jerónimo Martins, Millenium Bank, and Mota Engil – last Thursday, May 19th, where the perspectives on the polish market and economy and its eventual blockages were the main topic of discussion.

António Costa then reunited with homolog Mateusz Morawiecki on Friday, May 20th, for a conference to discuss the collective European security and the two country’s economic relations. António Costa has announced that „Poland can count with all our support in the effort for their humanitarian help with the Ukrainian refugees” by launching an economic package of up to 50€ million euros to support the Polish humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian refugees. The Portuguese Prime Minister reinforced this commitment while visiting the National State of Warsaw, currently one of the largest refugee centers in Poland: „To these people, we reaffirm our strongest commitment to ensuring their safety and well-being. However, we are all aware that the most difficult situation is the one faced by those who remain in Ukraine, where the humanitarian situation is in many cases very critical.”

PPCC and CCIP about Portuguese companies present in Poland

Since February 24th, the situation in Ukraine has shifted the global economy. Portugal and Poland, whose commercial relations are promoted by the Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce (PPCC) and the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), manage the interest of 200 member companies and share the experience that has been of the two countries’ economic relations.

In an interview with Executive Digest, Pedro Magalhães – Head of International Trade of CCIP – and Wojciech Baczyński – General Director of PPCC – have stated that, in general, all the Portuguese companies associated with the Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce have kept their regular work while expressing the will to act and aid the Ukrainian population that arrives in Poland, from both corporate and individual agents. Amid the economic and commercial significative impact that some companies have felt, both Chambers have been doing customized support work for companies, clarifying the doubts, displaying information, and, most importantly, stimulating a direct contact and relation between Portuguese exporter companies and the central Polish importers, distributors, and clients.

“The opportunities keep coming, the market is still functioning and there is still the search for products and services made in Portugal”, both stated. The Directors recognize the advantage of being on top of the occurrences and thus being more prepared with the necessary means so that member companies can avoid less risk and, simultaneously, begin and swiftly grow their businesses in the Polish market.

The Portuguese Week „Flavours of Portugal” 2022

Today, the Portuguese Week “Flavours of Portugal” is getting started, the biggest event promoting Portuguese products and culture in Eastern Europe. The event will be held at InterContinental Warsaw Hotel and will last the whole week!

In 2019, during the last edition before the pandemic, the event welcomed over 1000 visitors, among them our Sponsors’ business partners and representatives of key Polish business organisations and companies.

Every night regional dinners prepared by top Portuguese Chefs will be served to our Sponsors and their guests. Before the dinners, all guests are invited to enjoy a tasting of some exquisite Portuguese products and wines, and after that, prize lotteries and fado concerts.

To celebrate its 12th anniversary we want to make the 2022 Flavours of Portugal the biggest and the most interesting and exciting event ever, and we are sure it will be a wonderful time for all of the participants.

Our Member company Kochański & Partners expresses their solidarity with a struggling Ukraine, fighting to defend freedom, independence, democracy and shared European values. In the face of attacks on our Neighbours and Brothers, they are joining in to help Ukraine and Ukrainians fleeing to Poland. They share their expertise and experience, provide financial support and offer volunteers to assist.

As sympathetic Poles to our Ukrainian sisters and brothers, but also as competent advisors, and lawyers serving global business in Poland and around the world, they have decided to join these efforts and assist Ukrainian businesses in their efforts to rebuild the infrastructure and the destroyed market in Ukraine, but also to assist with their business relocation decisions and efforts to finance necessary projects.

Ambasada koordynuje wiele akcji bezpłatnego transportu do Portugalii organizowanych przez
portugalskie organizacje pozarządowe (NGO), i sama organizuje transporty w odpowiedzi na
zapotrzebowanie. Są to transporty lotnicze i naziemne. To może być np. wyczarterowany lot
podstawiony na lotnisko w Lublinie (jak kilka dni temu – zabrał prawie 300 osób), miejsce w
rejsowym samolocie np. TAP z Warszawy do Lizbony, lub autokar.

2. Poszukaj inicjatyw prywatnych
Portugalczycy organizują całe mnóstwo oddolnych akcji pomocowych. Często nawet w małych
miejscowościach w Portugalii tworzą zbiórki potrzebnych rzeczy, zbierają środki finansowe i
potem ruszają zawozić tę pomoc na granicę z Ukrainą, a w drodze powrotnej zabierają chętnych
do Portugalii. Często mając już uzbierane dary, mając środki na podróż, nie wiedzą gdzie
dokładnie jechać je zawieźć. Czy do Polski, czy do Rumunii? Do jakich miast, czy bezpośrednio
na granicę? Możecie ułatwić im zadanie zgłaszając, że jesteście grupą osób i czekacie na
transport do Portugalii w danym mieście. To pomoże im ustalić trasę i odebrać Was z Polski.
Załączę tu listę portugalskich grup pomocowych na Facebooku które znam, w których możecie
zgłosić że chcecie jechać, gdzie jesteście i w ile osób. Piszcie po angielsku, Portugalczycy dobrze
znają angielski. Jest tam też dużo Ukraińców, można pisać po ukraińsku.

Pamiętajcie. Uprzedźcie waszych ukraińskich podopiecznych którzy zdecydują się skorzystanie z
inicjatywy prywatnej, aby zrobili zdjęcia tablic rejestracyjnych pojazdu oraz kierowcy ze swoim
dowodem/prawem jazdy w celu przesłania tych danych do bliskich. To dmuchanie na zimne, ale
bezpieczeństwo to podstawa, a podróżują głównie kobiety z dziećmi. W przeciwieństwie do
transportów organizowanych oficjalnie przy wsparciu władz, te są poza jakąkolwiek kontrolą.


3. Transport na własną rękę dla osób posiadających środki finansowe na zakup biletu
Na własną rękę do Portugalii drogą lotniczą mogą dostać się Ukraińcy posiadający paszporty
biometryczne lub w przypadku braku tego dokumentu, posiadający specjalne zezwolenie
wydawane wyłącznie w sytuacjach wyjątkowych przez Ambasadę Portugalii – Título de Viagem
Única, TVU. W przypadku transportu drogą lądową nie ma wymogu posiadania żadnego z tych
dokumentów.

Legalność pobytu i pracy ob. Ukrainy uciekających do Polski przed wojną – Sadkowski i Wspólnicy

INSTRUKCJA POSTĘPOWANIA DLA OBYWATELA UKRAINY

 

  1. PO WJEŹDZIE NA TERYTORIUM RP ZADEKLARUJ STRAŻY GRANICZNEJ ZAMIAR POZOSTANIA W POLSCE! JEŻELI NIE ZŁOŻYŁEŚ TAKIEJ DEKLARACJI, UDAJ SIĘ DO NAJBLIŻSZEJ PLACÓWKI STRAŻY GRANICZNEJ CELEM ZŁOŻENIA TAKIEJ DEKLARACJI.
  2. Po wjeździe na terytorium RP udaj się w terminie 60 dni od dnia wjazdu do dowolnego organu wykonawczego gminy w Polsce i zarejestruj swój pobyt. W tym celu musisz złożyć wniosek w wersji papierowej (wnioski będą dostępne w urzędach), dołączyć jedną fotografię (wymiary: 3,5cm x 4,5cm), a także złożyć odciski linii papilarnych podczas wizyty w urzędzie (nie dotyczy osób do 12. roku życia oraz osób, od których pobranie odcisków linii papilarnych jest fizycznie niemożliwe).
  3. Rejestrując swój pobyt w organie gminy musisz przedstawić dokument potwierdzający tożsamość (paszport / dowód osobisty / Kartę Polaka / inny dokument ze zdjęciem umożliwiający ustalenie tożsamości) – MOŻE BYĆ TO TAKŻE DOKUMENT, KTÓRY UTRACIŁ JUŻ SWOJĄ WAŻNOŚĆ. W przypadku braku dokumentu, potwierdzisz swoją tożsamość poprzez złożenie odpowiedniego oświadczenia w urzędzie.
  4. Obywatel Ukrainy rejestrując swój pobyt uzyska numer PESEL, dzięki czemu będzie mógł skorzystać z opieki medycznej oraz wszelkiego rodzaju świadczeń pieniężnych, jak i niepieniężnych.

 

  1. Na chwilę obecną jesteś objęty TZW. OCHRONĄ CZASOWĄ i Twój pobyt w Polsce jest legalny przez okres 18 miesięcy licząc od dnia 24 lutego 2022 r
  2. Jeżeli po wjeździe na terytorium RP Straż Graniczna udzieliła tzw. „zezwolenia na wjazd do 15 dni”, Twój pobyt w Polsce jest legalny przez okres 18 miesięcy.

 

  1. Jeżeli po wjeździe na terytorium RP złożyłeś wniosek o udzielenie ochrony międzynarodowej, jak najszybciej udaj się do najbliższej placówki Straży Granicznej i WYCOFAJ ZŁOŻONY WNIOSEK!
  2. Jeżeli po wjeździe na terytorium RP Straż Graniczna nie wydała Ci żadnego dokumentu i nie udzieliła tzw. „zezwolenia na wjazd do 15 dni”, możesz złożyć do Szefa Urzędu ds. Cudzoziemców wniosek o wydanie tzw. zaświadczenia potwierdzającego korzystanie z ochrony czasowej. Wydanie zaświadczenia jest bezpłatne.

 

  1. Najwcześniej po upływie 9 miesięcy od dnia wjazdu do Polski z uwagi na wojnę w Ukrainie i nie później niż w okresie 18 miesięcy od dnia 24 lutego 2022 r. obywatel Ukrainy, który przyjechał do Polski z terytorium Ukrainy w okresie od dnia 24 lutego 2022 r. w związku z wojną w Ukrainie, może złożyć wniosek o udzielenie specjalnego rodzaju zezwolenia na pobyt czasowy. Zezwolenie zostanie udzielone jednorazowo na okres 3 lat.

 

  1. Obywatele Ukrainy, którzy przebywają legalnie w Polsce, a także obywatele Ukrainy, którzy przybyli do Polski bezpośrednio z terytorium Ukrainy od dnia 24 lutego 2022 r. w związku z wojną w Ukrainie i zadeklarowali zamiar pozostania w Polsce, są uprawnieni do wykonywania pracy bez dokumentu legalizującego pracę.

 

  1. Jeżeli wyjedziesz z Polski na okres powyżej 1 miesiąca, tracisz ochronę czasową przyznaną w Polsce!

 

  1. Jeżeli masz zamiar wyjechać z Polski na okres powyżej 1 miesiąca, udaj się do organu gminy celem wyrejestrowania swojego pobytu, a także powiadom Straż Graniczną o wyjeździe z Polski.

 

 

INSTRUKCJA POSTĘPOWANIA DLA PRACODAWCY OBYWATELA UKRAINY

 

Pracodawca celem zatrudnienia obywatela Ukrainy przebywającego w Polsce legalnie, a także celem zatrudnienia obywatela Ukrainy, który przybył do Polski bezpośrednio z terytorium Ukrainy od dnia 24 lutego 2022 r. w związku z wojną w Ukrainie i zadeklarował zamiar pozostania w Polsce, nie musi uzyskiwać żadnego dokumentu legalizującego pracę. Jedynym obowiązkiem pracodawcy w odniesieniu do przepisów prawa imigracyjnego, jest powiadomienie powiatowego urzędu pracy właściwego ze względu na siedzibę pracodawcy o podjęciu pracy przez obywatela Ukrainy. Powiadomienie musi zostać złożone za pośrednictwem systemu praca.gov.pl w terminie 14 dni od dnia podjęcia pracy przez obywatela Ukrainy.

 

 

FORMY POMOCY DLA OBYWATELI UKRAINY

 

Obywatelom Ukrainy uciekającym do Polski w związku z wojną w Ukrainie jest oferowana kompleksowa pomoc, m.in. opieka medyczna finansowana z budżetu państwa, różnego rodzaju świadczenia pieniężne i niepieniężne, a także pomoc w edukacji, wychowaniu przedszkolnym, opiece nad dziećmi itp. itd. Należy jednak pamiętać, że poszczególne organy gminy będą podejmować w tym zakresie stosowne uchwały, co oznacza, że należy na bieżąco zapoznawać się z uchwałami organów gminy właściwej dla miejsca pobytu obywatela Ukrainy oraz składać wnioski o udzielenie stosownej pomocy do właściwego miejscowo organu gminy.
